High Country Watermedia Society
Main Gallery
The exhibiting artists in the Main Gallery are members of the High Country Watermedia Society, a local art organization dedicated to promoting the practice and appreciation of watermedia art. The society supports its mission through educational programs, member exhibitions, and the administration of art-related grants.
While their works span in range of media, they all use water as a focal component in their creations. You’ll find works made from watercolor, acrylic, gouache, and more in this vibrant exhibit!

Flex Room
The artists featured in the Flex Room are all members from the Plein Air Painters, a locally based group who paint “en plein air” – or, outside and on location.
The works in this exhibit span a variety of mediums, including oil, watercolor, and ink, applied on surfaces such as canvas, linen, and board. Plein Air Painters aim to capture the immediacy of their surrounding environment, painting directly from the scenes in front of them.
