Arts Access Gallery Announces Open Call for “Kaleidoscope” Exhibit

Arts Access Gallery has announced their latest open call for art, Kaleidoscope – a unique exhibition that will showcase the diverse perspectives of autistic artists. This exhibition aims to provide a platform for autistic individuals to share their creative expressions and offer insight into how the world is seen, understood, and interpreted through the their lens.

The exhibition will explore the beauty, complexity, and depth of autistic experiences, highlighting the various ways in which autistic individuals perceive and engage with their surroundings. Kaleidoscope will celebrate the vibrancy and creativity of the autistic community.

Exhibition Details

  • On View: April 4 through June 27, 2025

  • Eligibility: Open to autistic artists aged 18 and older, including both emerging and established artists.

  • Deadline: Artwork submissions are due by March 2, 2025, at 11:59 pm EST.

Krista Holt

Krista is the admin at the Watauga Arts Council and a student from Appalachian State University studying Art History and Psychology. Initially a volunteer, Krista began working with WAC in September of 2024. She specializes in communications and event programming, including overseeing arts education operations.
