Luke Lewis

Luke Lewis is from Monroe, Georgia, and is currently in his third year at Appalachian State University, studying Studio art with a concentration in metalworking. His work often explores themes of identity, spirituality, and the unconscious mind through wood, metal, and paint. Using a combination of modern and historical craft techniques, he strives to create narrative sculptures that draw on the weight of our collective cultural symbols and how they can be used and distorted to tell a story about both the viewer and the artist.
