Cindy Michaud Showcases New Exhibit at Seby Jones Cancer Center
One of Michaud’s pieces currently being shown at Seby Jones Cancer Center
This past month, Cindy Michaud has installed her newest exhibit at the Seby Jones Cancer Center. Michaud has been creating beautiful art in the High Country for many years. Her work incorporates various types of media and reflects the people and the terrain of Western North Carolina. Her work celebrates the beauty and diversity we are surrounded with in everyday life.
Michaud notes the importance of bringing a space to life, having had to sit with loved ones in various chemo infusion centers during treatment. Her work is meant to give those receiving treatment a glimmer of hope while also giving back to the local community.
This installation is a part of WAC’s Art Placement Program which installs rotating gallery exhibits in external galleries. Our current partners include Seby Jones Cancer Center, Boone Chamber, and Explore Boone.
Due to the sensitive nature of the Seby Jones space, we ask that you please call or email WAC staff ahead of time to plan a showing. (828-264-1789 | admin@watauga-arts.org)
