Phi Perry

Phi is a mixed media artist originally from Noblesville, Indiana, now living and creating in Boone, North Carolina. Phi went to Appalachian State University and earned a degree in Art & Visual Culture with a concentration in Art Management. Perry is drawn to unique materials, unconventional processes, and creating art that feels unexpected.

Since moving to the Appalachian Mountains, Perry has become enamored with the natural world and often finds inspiration in its organic forms, textures, and beauty. Perry credits much of her inspiration and love of creating to her mother, an artist herself who always encouraged her daughter to make art. Since her mother’s recent passing, that encouragement has taken on an even deeper meaning and continues to shape Perry’s creative practice.
