Youth Makers' Market gives kids the experience of making a product and selling it at the local farmers' market! On the second Friday of each month, families can stop by anytime between 4:00 - 5:30 pm to create products like key chains, tie dye shirts, and more. Students can keep this work or sell it the next day at the Watauga County Farmers' Market from 8 am - 12 pm. During Fridays' activities, kids will get advice on how to sell their products and they will get their own booth space on Saturday. Registration is required for Friday and costs $5. Participants are not required to sell work at the farmers' market, but are strongly encouraged. Youth who do not participate Friday can still sell on Saturday.

About the Instructor
John has experience teaching the earliest beginners to the more advanced students. A talented artist himself, he has more than 28 years of experience teaching art classes to students from children to senior adults. Many of his students have gone on to accomplish success in their artistic career. He has had a steady following of repeat students and is eager to start teaching again.
