The Watauga Arts Council partners with the Cancer Center Resource Alliance Advisory Board to organize and provide rotating exhibitions for the hallways of the Seby Jones Cancer Center at the Appalachian Regional Medical Center Campus located on Deerfield Road in Boone, NC.
Studies show a direct link between the presence of artwork and a positive effect on the brain's reaction to pain, stress, and anxiety. We provide art exhibits in an effort to bring beauty, healing, and hope to cancer patients who need it as they walk through some of the hardest times in their lives. We consider it an honor and joy to provide this service.
Because these galleries are only viewed by patients, family, and staff of the Cancer Center, we are providing a virtual gallery for your viewing pleasure. The artwork is available for purchase.
