About the Instructor Lindsay Carroll is a portrait and figurative artist based in the High Country of North Carolina. Lindsay is a member of the Portrait Society of America, a sponsored artist through Cheap Joe’s ambassadorship program, a featured artist in Painters of Ashe County, and the recipient of numerous awards for artworks featured in local juried exhibitions. Inspired by contemporary realist artists such as Megan Elizabeth Reed and Roberto Ferri, Lindsay's work embraces a dramatic tone - aided by the careful consideration of where light and shadow fall in her compositions.
