The Mountain Arts Program (MAP) offers schools the option of an affordable 1-5 day residency with professional regional teaching artists. MAP artists work with five core groups of students during the residency week, guiding them in hands-on arts experiences in everything from the visual arts to creative movement, storytelling to music, and weaving to bookmaking. Picture at left: Barry Johnson shares Native American arts and culture with students at Mabel Elementary.

Artist fees for a MAP Residency range from $200, for a one day residency to $650 for a full 5 day residency.  Several artists will offer a teacher workshop and/or an evening performance option for an additional cost.
