June JAMboree

The Watauga Arts Council presents June JAMboree, a benefit concert for the Watauga Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) program. The concert will take place at the Blowing Rock school auditorium on June 3, from 7-9 p.m. The concert will feature JAM students and instructors from the Watauga program, John Cockman and members of the Cockman Family, and Wayne Henderson and Helen White. Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Proceeds will help support the Watauga JAM program, which provides lessons to 3-12 grade students in fiddle, banjo, and guitar for a cheap group rate. Tickets are available from the Watauga Arts Council at the Jones House Community Center, or by calling the Watauga Arts Council at 828-264-1789.
