This year’s festival was co-sponsored by, and held at, The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts on April 25. Tellers included Orville Hicks, Glenn Bolick, Charlotte Ross, and Lorraine Clarkson.

The
Fourth Grade Storytelling Festival is held each year for all fourth grade
students at Hickory Ridge Homestead. Local storytellers share new and
traditional stories from the Appalachian region and the world,
and students
receive living history tours of Hickory Ridge Homestead as well.
